What is Recoia?
Recoia is online GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) software for businesses (trades, shops, professional firms, e-commerce, B2B services) and the agencies that support them, in France and Belgium. It measures whether artificial intelligence assistants recommend a business, shows the topics where its future customers look for it without finding it, and gives the pages to create to be recommended there.

What Recoia does
- Understands the website: from a simple address, Recoia identifies the business, its offers and its areas, then builds the questions customers ask.
- Measures: each question is asked several times to each engine; mention and citation rates are given with a 95% confidence interval.
- Explains: Recoia compares the passages the AI cites with the business’s page and lists the gaps (missing information, third-party sources, freshness).
- Finds customers: the opportunities (a service in an area) where there is demand and the business is rarely recommended, with the page to create or improve and the sources to be present on.
- Tracks: measurement every 2 weeks, citations with a link, visits from AI assistants, alerts, monthly reports (white-labelled for agencies).
What Recoia does not do
- It does not guarantee being cited by an AI assistant.
- It does not automate the ChatGPT or Gemini interfaces: it goes through APIs and data providers.
- It does not publish anything on your website for you.
- It does not collect personal data about your website’s visitors.
